People’s Air-Cooled Show – 2026

From the organisers of the Midlands Air-Cooled Swap Meet and taking place at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon on 23rd Aug ’26, the People’s Air-Cooled Show was a one-day event dedicated to the air-cooled Volkswagen and Porsche community.  Despite being the inaugural running of the show, it was very well attended, aided no doubt by the gloriously sunny weather and the offer of free entry to the museum itself!  The Club had five Beetles on display, with numerous other members attending as visitors, which provided a great chance for a catch up to hear what people have been doing over the summer.  We also did our duty with some early promotional flyers distributed for next year’s Stanford Hall show and some lateral thinking using a spare wheel and traffic cone to hold up the Club flag!  All in all, definitely a show for the calendar next year.
