60th Anniversary Ball, Stanford Hall

It was 60 years ago today, as the Beatles meant to say in Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.  The Club’s 60th anniversary was a grand affair held in the ballroom in Stanford Hall, followed by dancing into the small hours in the party room.  Sunday saw things move at a slightly more sedate pace with afternoon tea served on the lawns outside, accompanied by a variety of activities including tug-o-war and welly throwing for those of a competitive nature!
