DESCRIPTION:STOP PRESS! \nPlease note that due to weather concerns\, we are changing the venue of Sunday’s New Year’s Walk. This will now be at Coombe Abbey nr Coventry at the meeting time of 11.00am\, not 10.30am as previously stated. Coombe is near sea level while the previous venue Beacon Hill is about 850 feet above and prone to snowfall. Take Wellingtons or walking boots as there will be some mud. Weather looks better later\, hence time change. \nOur traditional New Year’s walk\, providing an ideal opportunity to catch up with everyone and also to burn off some of those extra calories consumed over the festive period! \nThis year\, the walk will take place at Beacon Hill Country Park\, Woodhouse Eaves.  This is a country park with great views and a small café. \nMeet at 10.30am in the lower car park\, just off Breakback Road (LE12 8TA). \nCar park fees at time of writing are: \n\nUp to 1 hour – £2\n1-2 hours – £3.50\n2-3 hours – £4.50\nOver 3 hours – £5\n\nPayment is contactless via card.
